The results of a flow loop study to compare the performance of Anticor PA 500 against 3 other dispersants is shown below.

Anticor PA 500 gave the lower amount of deposited wax (13g) when compared with both the blank and the 3 other wax dispersant runs.

The most interesting result is that of the blank run after testing Anticor PA 500 and after solvent wash of the loop. The anti-sticking property of the chemical significantly reduces the amount of wax adhering to metal surfaces: the re-run of the blank (18g) is similar to the wax dispersant 3 (17g)

In other words, Anticor PA 500 leaves a coating on the pipe wall and drastically reduces the amount of wax deposition in a flowing system.
